Abandoned house

Abandoned house

Throughout Ras al Khaimah, and its surrounding communities, there are hundreds of well-built houses that are evidence of an established and wealthy population years ago. Not far from what is known in RAK as the "Hilton Beach" is one example of one of these large houses and walled courtyard. This house is among those the authorities intend to protect and restore; today it is used as good place to play football!
