Original ENHG Committee Position: Field Trip Coordinator

The duties of the Field Trip Coordinator of the Al Ain chapter of the Emirates Natural History Group include:

organize field trips that advance the appreciation and study of natural history in the UAE
arrange recommaissance trips, as necessary, to ensure feasibility of proposed excursions
ensure members wear appropriate clothing and bring proper supplies and equipment on field outings
arrange/encourage members who are experts to share their knowledge in field discussions
encourage the recording of natural history phenomena that is observerd on the trip. (Report forms are available.)
ensure field trip articles for the Newsletter are written. There should be one article the month of the trip and one after the trip written by one of the participants.
keep first aid kit and ensure that it is taken on all field trips and that supplies are replenished and updated as necessary
