Meetings and Field Trips

Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month (July, August and December excepted) at the Al Ain Intercontinental Resort. Meetings are open to the public; members are admitted free, guests pay a nominal charge. Meetings begin at 7:0 pm with the presentation scheduled to begin at 8 pm.

Field trips are organized for members of the Al Ain chapter of the Emirates Natural History Group. Field trip leaders donate their time, vehicles and expertise. Your cooperation is very much appreciated. Please note the guidelines regarding dress and medical conditions.

Please also make a note of the convoy driving recommendations for members.

Informal Field Trips Individual members of the ENHG are encouraged to share their knowledge and enthusiasm of the natural history of the UAE by inviting other members to join them if they are planning an outing. Please use the email discussion group to notify others of your plans (send email to enhg@yahoogroups.com). If you are planning well in advance, your outing can be announced at a regular meeting or be included in an issue of the Newsletter.
